This is a copy of the 2nd version of the instructions and was printed in monochrome.  The 1st version was more like the original 261 instructions in design and had red/white overtones similar to the blue/white ones on the 261 sheet. 

These 2nd version instructions shipped with the second window box car from the early 70's.   They were 1st issued in 1970s  At about this time  Corgi were cutting back on their expenses the casualties were the packaging and accessories.

 Window boxes without insert plinths became the norm and this and other instruction sheets like those for the 267 Batmobile became monochrome on ordinary paper.  As a result, these 2nd version instructions and boxes etc were not as desirable as their earlier versions and were commonly discarded.  Now they are getting particularly scarce.
